The San Diego City Attorney’s Office has initiated legal action against the owners of a downtown property that has reportedly been unoccupied for seven years. During this period, the building at 1323 and 1345 Sixth Ave. has become a site of multiple fires, including one significant incident classified as a three-alarm blaze last year, and an alleged unpermitted parking operation has been found active on adjoining lots.
Defendants in the case include Daniels Investment Group, which purchased the property in 2024, and Premium Parking Service, which is accused of running a parking business without necessary permits. The City Attorney’s Office reported over 50 police responses linked to the property since the acquisition, compounded by serious issues including trespassing and drug use. The lawsuit aims to label the property as a public nuisance and seeks judicial orders to rectify the ongoing violations impacting the surrounding community.
