Take off to Paris: Air France to launch non-stop flight to City of Light

Starting May 3, 2027, travelers from San Diego will be able to fly directly to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport with Air France. This new route addresses a notable absence in the region’s international travel options, as San Diego International Airport was previously the largest airport in the U.S. without nonstop service to Paris.

Air France’s new flights will operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday using an Airbus A350, marking Paris as the 90th nonstop destination for San Diego. According to Nicolas Hénin from Air France-KLM, the addition reflects the increasing demand for transatlantic air travel and presents a new opportunity for travelers. This announcement has also garnered support from local officials, including Mayor Todd Gloria, who highlighted the potential benefits for tourism and economic ties with Europe.
